Homelessness is a huge problem in Canada. Every year, at least 235,000 Canadians experience homelessness. That’s about the population of Regina.

Tent encampments have sprung up across the country. Shelters are full. People are living rough, sleeping in cars or doorways.

To get a place to live, you need a job. To get a job, you need an address. To break the homeless cycle, the home has to come first.

To help people get a foot in the door, some communities are building villages of tiny homes.
