For 140 years, sledders have enjoyed a giant toboggan hill in Quebec City.

The hill is 83 metres high. It’s built on Dufferin Terrace, which sits on a cliff high above the St. Lawrence River. From the top, there’s a breathtaking view of the river and the historic Château Frontenac Hotel.

Seeing the sights

About 100,000 people rocket down the slide every year. About 84 percent are visitors to the city.  They don’t just come for the view. They come for the heart-stopping ride.
