Paleontologists have dug up a giant dinosaur skull near Grande Prairie, Alberta. It may be the biggest ever found in the area.

It’s certainly the biggest one Emily Bamforth has ever found. Curator of the nearby Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum, she led the team.

Meet Big Sam

“The skull belongs to a horned dinosaur called pachyrhinosaurus. It’s a smaller, older cousin of the triceratops.”

The team has nicknamed it Big Sam.
