They’re here, hockey fans! On September 9, the Professional Women’s Hockey League revealed names and logos for its six teams.

This popular new hockey league already has a season under its belt. But for the first season, none of the teams had names. They went by location.

Creating the team identities was the opportunity of a lifetime, said VP Amy Scheer.

“We’ve got six great names. They’re bold, they’re confident, they’re strong. The next phase for us is seeing our fans bring these logos to life.”
